Description
Trereife is a beautiful manor house in West Penwith with views to the sea on a clear day. Come and enjoy the serenity of the walled garden and meander through the charming courtyard to the Poet's cafe which serves delicious light lunches and homemade cream teas. Blues nights are held at the cafe every other Wednesday night which are proving to be very popular. Further round to the back of the house you will find the old kitchen which has been converted into a modern gallery displaying paintings, ceramics and jewellery by local artists - you'll be sure to find some interesting gifts here. Tim Le Grice, the present owner of Trereife conducts guided tours of the house at 2.15 daily except Saturdays. Tim has a wealth of knowledge of the house and his ancestors and his tours are highly entertaining. Throughout the year various events are held at Treriefe from Miracle Theatre's stunning performance of Romeo and Juliet to a folk festival and fine food and craft fairs so do check our website for our latest event as well as for up-to-date information on the gallery.
