
The staff at English Heritage’s Tintagel Castle have been singled out for their excellent customer service at this year’s Cornwall Tourism Awards.
The Outstanding Customer Services Award rewards exceptional customer care and a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ to make sure visitors have a fantastic day out. From reuniting lost children with their parents to assisting with a pagan wedding blessing, the team at Tintagel are always happy to help!
Matt Ward, Visitor Operations Manager at the Castle said: “It’s fantastic to have won the Cornwall Tourism Award for customer service. All the staff at Tintagel recognise that a visitor’s enjoyment depends as much upon their interaction with staff as it does upon their experience of the site itself. Our staff go the extra mile to make sure each individual’s visit is memorable and this award is the perfect recognition for their hard work.”
